The Gold coating is sometimes referred to as “Shiny” or “Translucent”. It is offered in smooth, two grooved and beaded profiles. It has a Hi-Gloss appearance and is hard but flexible. These properties make it a good choice for making dog collars for hunting or sport dogs. Colors with a 100 number are opaque and with a 300 number they are translucent.
This page offers Gold Standard (0.100" thick) Black 101 in multiple widths and multiple grooves. It is made with B10 webbing which means that it has a 1,000 lb. per inch of width break strength. So a 1" strap has a 1,000 lb. break strength and a 1/2" strap has a 500 lb. break strength.
